Proper hydration is crucial for energy levels and keeping your body running smoothly. Our bodies use water for literally everything so it is important to make sure we are drinking our water.
Plan and prep meal
Planning meals helps you avoid unhealthy, last-minute food choices like that McDonald's drive-thru! Plus it will save you some money in the long run.
Balance your macronutrients
A balanced diet provides proper energy levels. Have you ever eaten a meal and then you're instantly hungry afterward? Well, that could be because your plate wasn’t balanced with fats, protein, and carbs to promote long-lasting energy.
Healthy snacking
Keep energy levels stable between meals. Like above making sure you have all macros in your snack will help give you a boost of energy and hold you over until your next meal!
Incorporate fiber
Fiber aids in digestion and keeps you feeling full. It is also being found out that fiber can help prevent diseases!
Mind your portions
Managing portion sizes helps in maintaining a healthy weight. Use smaller plates, listen to your hunger cues, and avoid eating in front of screens to prevent overeating. Mindlessly eating can be easy to do so just be aware of what you are doing.
Prioritize your sleep
In a country that brags about how many hours you are running off of sleep is a game changer in reaching your fitness goals. Getting adequate sleep helps balance your hunger hormones and helps keep your body functioning at top performance.
Smart supplementation
I always try to get all my nutrients from actual food but sometimes that doesn’t happen when you are busy. Supplementation can help fill in the gaps of the nutrients you are missing.
